Evo Slim Supplement Facts: Every Row on the Label

The Evo Slim serving size is one capsule, with thirty servings in a bottle.

The panel lists twenty actives. Seven show a % Daily Value, led by biotin at 1,000% and chromium at 191%. Other ingredients are hypromellose and rice flour.

See what each ingredient is for.

Transcribed from the label artwork in the order the bottle prints it, including the standardisations and the plant parts.

The whole label, including the panelSuggested use and the caution on the left, the wordmark and count in the middle, the Supplement Facts panel and other ingredients on the right.

Three blocks are worth reading off that artwork before the table below. The suggested use gives the dose and the timing. The caution gives the exclusions. And the strip down the right-hand edge carries the other ingredients and the FDA statement.

Also printed on the label: “Manufactured in the USA with globally sourced ingredients.” That phrasing matches the foreign-and-domestic-ingredients seal the pack ships, and it is a statement about where the capsule was assembled rather than where every row was grown.

Reading the percentages

What the Evo Slim Daily Values mean, and what they do not

Seven rows carry a percentage. Those percentages compare the amount in one capsule with a reference intake for adults, which is a nutrition figure rather than a dose figure.

RowAmount% DVWhat the percentage is saying
Biotin300 mcg1,000%Ten times the reference intake. Common in supplements, and the row worth mentioning before a blood test.
Chromium67 mcg191%Nearly double the reference intake, and still below the amounts the weight trials used.
Zinc8 mg73%Most of a day's reference intake. Worth adding to whatever else is being taken.
Vitamin C50 mg56%About half a day. Requirements appear to rise with body size, which makes this reasonable.
Vitamin E7 mg47%Just under half a day, in the synthetic form. The forms differ in potency.
Manganese1 mg43%Under half a day. An ordinary supplemental amount.
Magnesium125 mg30%Under a third of a day, in the salt with the poorest absorption record.

A % Daily Value answers “how much of a day's nutrition is this”. It does not answer “is this the amount a trial used”, which is a different question and is handled on the ingredients page.

The distinction that trips people up

Chromium at 191% looks like a large amount and is a small one. The percentage is measured against a 35 mcg reference intake; the trials were measured against each other and used 200 to 1,000 mcg. Both figures are true and they are answering different questions.

The daggered rows

The thirteen Evo Slim rows with no Daily Value

A double dagger is not a warning. It means no reference intake has been established for that substance, which is the normal state of affairs for a botanical and for vanadium.

  • Ten botanicals: banaba 25 mg, guggul 50 mg, bitter melon 20 mg, licorice 25 mg, cinnamon 50 mg, gymnema 3 mg, yarrow 25 mg, cayenne 10 mg, juniper 13 mg, white mulberry 3 mg.
  • One trace mineral: vanadium 2 mg, as vanadyl sulfate.
  • Two free compounds: alpha lipoic acid 30 mg and L-taurine 25 mg.

For those thirteen the useful comparison is not a percentage, it is the amount the published research used. That comparison is printed row by row on the ingredients page and summarised in the honest label section of the home page.

The limits

What a Evo Slim panel cannot tell you

A Supplement Facts panel is a declaration, not a certificate. It states what the manufacturer intends to be in the capsule. It does not prove what is there, and no panel on any shelf does.

Four things this panel does not establish
  • That the contents were independently assayed. A certificate reference is a filing reference, not a laboratory result.
  • That each row is present at exactly the stated figure. Manufacturing tolerances exist and are not printed here or anywhere else.
  • That the extracts are the same material the cited trials used. Standardisation is stated for banaba and for nobody else.
  • That the finished capsule does anything. No trial of this product exists and none is claimed.

What it does establish is the more important half: the manufacturer has committed to twenty figures in writing, and a buyer can hold them to it. That is the floor a panel provides, and a label without one provides nothing at all. The seals on the bottle are audited separately on the testing and quality page.

Questions

Evo Slim Supplement Facts: common questions

Where does this panel come from?

The Evo Slim label artwork, the flat art the bottle is printed from, which is reproduced as an image at the top of this page. The seller's front page publishes no panel at all, which is why transcribing it here is worth doing.

What does the double dagger mean?

It marks a row whose Daily Value has not been established. Thirteen of the twenty rows carry it, which is normal for botanicals and for vanadium.

Is anything hidden in a blend?

No. Every row on this panel has its own figure. There is no “proprietary blend” line anywhere on the label.

Why does biotin show 1,000%?

Because 300 mcg is ten times the 30 mcg adequate intake used for the Daily Value. It is a common amount in supplements and it is the row worth mentioning before a blood test.

What are the other ingredients?

Hypromellose, which is the capsule shell, and rice flour. Nothing else is listed.

Two months from the day you pay, which is about how long this capsule takes to judge

Buyers on this product most often report a change somewhere in weeks four to eight, so the window has to outlast the wait. Sixty days from purchase covers a two-bottle run, and the days a parcel spends in transit come out of it, which is an argument for deciding by day fifty rather than day sixty. Call the order desk with your order ID and follow the steps on the refund policy page.
